"WHO WE ARE/OUR MISSION STATEMENT"

St Matthews FCU began operating in 1961. The credit union is owned by it's members, and is a not for profit financial cooperative. The mission of this Credit Union shall be to emphasize it as a member organization and provide maximum quality financial services to it's members. Communication to it's members and openness within the constraints of the law shall be necessary requirements from the staff, volunteers and Board of Directors.

"How can you join?"
All it takes to join is depositing at least $5.00 in a share savings account. Once someone joins the credit union, they are immediately eligible to apply for some of the other credit union services.

"Who can join us?"
The Credit Union was formed to service the members of the St Matthews Catholic Church and their immediate family members. Other organizations that can join the credit union include:

Members and employees of St Matthews Catholic Church, Va Beach, Va

Members of the Mission, Prince of Peace - Chesapeake, VA

Members of the Church of Ascension - Va. Beach, VA

Members of the Padul Caravan of the Alhambra - Norfolk, VA

The Priests of the Diocese of Richmond - Richmond, VA

Members of the Grand Lodge of Virginia, Order of Sons of Italy in America who qualify for membership in accordance with its constitution and bylaws as of the date of this amendment.

Members of the Knights of Columbus, Council 8240, in Cheaspeake, Va, who qualify for membership in accordance with its constitution and bylaws as of the date of this amendment.

Employees of the following companies who work in Virginia:

Real Time Data Management Services Inc.

Digital Sound Inc.

Gallop Bus Lines Ltd.

Employees of the credit union

Members immediate family members

Organizations of such persons

Employees and students of St Matthews School, Va Beach, Va 9/26/01
